Laura Ingalls is a small girl caught up in the westward expansion. When her Pa decides the Big Woods of Wisconsin is too crowded, the Ingalls family packs up and heads for open spaces. Laura finds the trip alternates between boredom and moments of heart-stopping excitement in their covered wagon. The real story starts when they arrive in the grasslands of Kansas and begin to build new lives - learning to live with nearby Indians, howling wolves, and surviving a prairie fire only to find out, a year later, that they have built three miles over the line into Indian Territory.

We absolutely love Progeny Press study guides, and the guide for Little House on the Prairie is definitely a must do for all of my girls! Not only do the authors of the study guide demonstrate many literary concepts in a easily understood manner, but they bring in life lessons and bring them in check with God's word! It really drives applicable life lessons to the heart and brain. My daughters always find a great project that fits their passions in the "project" section. Thank you for helping me to give my children a great education in such an easy way!
