Scribbles the Owl
Scribbles the Owl says…
"Hi there! I'm Scribbles, your Progeny Press guide. This study holds a very special place in my heart — Frog and Toad are two of the most beloved friends in all of children's literature, and this guide turns their funny, warm, wonderful adventures into a rich learning experience your child will absolutely love!"
The story: What does true friendship really look like? It looks a lot like Frog and Toad! In this Newbery Honor collection of short stories by Arnold Lobel, two inseparable friends navigate the big and small moments of life together — planting gardens, resisting a very tempting pile of cookies, embarking on brave adventures, and even doing absolutely nothing when Toad can't find his list of things to do. Funny, tender, and surprisingly wise, Frog and Toad Together is the kind of book children beg to read again and again — and the perfect foundation for meaningful conversations about friendship, character, and faith.

"The gardening activity is one of my favorite parts to recommend to families — kids who plant their own seeds while reading about Frog and Toad's garden suddenly understand something about patience and trust that no worksheet could ever teach. It's learning that grows right alongside them!"

Age appropriate, thoughtful and well done

I have seen the older guides and wasn't sure how it would work for a younger child but it went well and was age appropriate. I enjoyed it thoroughly and love the biblical accompaniment. These guides are great!

Bible Study with Frog and Toad

I wasn't really sure what to expect when we got the Frog and Toad Together E-Guide. I just knew I loved these stories and thought it would be fun to go a little more in depth with my 6-year old son. I had no idea what a wonderful experience we were going to have going through this study together. I loved the way each chapter had us in our Bibles looking at what the Lord says about friendship, bravery, temptation, putting others first, etc. My son and I had some really good discussions, and he enjoyed it so much he wanted to get the study for his friends so they could do it to.
