Description

Feeling "cooped up" and tired of living under the strict discipline of her parents and grandmother, 10-year-old Winnie Foster decides to run away from home. When she ventures out on her own, she discovers a young man in her family's wood who belongs to a remarkable family with a remarkable claim: that the water from a spring in the forest has blessed (or cursed) them with immortality.
Mae Tuck, the family's matriarch, kidnaps Winnie in order to keep this secret safe, but the stranger in the yellow suit is already on the Tucks' trail, eager to exploit their secret for his own financial gain. Is eternal life a blessing or a curse?
Winnie must decide whether she believes the Tucks' claim, if she will trust and help them, andbefore her adventures endwhether or not to join them on their never-ending journey.

    Never disappointed

Progeny Press literature guides never disappoint! I love that they make biblical connections to the book, encourage students to dig deeper into what they are reading, and yet don't drag out the book so long the kids lose interest. My only wish is that the e-guide version allowed unlimited access, rather than on 2 devices for just a year. I would like all of my kids to have access on their various kindles when they are each old enough to enjoy the book. Progeny Press Response: Thank you for the wonderful review! Our eGuides are available to download from our site as many times as you wish for 1 year from date of purchase. Once downloaded, you have permanent access to the file as long as you do not manually remove it from your computer's memory. I hope this helps!

    Tuck Everlasting E-guide fantastic!

Purchased this guide for my 6th grader. I've used the Lit guides before but never the e-guide. Loved it because my son would rather type than handwrite out everything. As a Christian, I wanted a guide that provided more thought provoking questions AND had an overall Christian tone. In addition to many well-written literal and analytical questions, there were deeper probing questions that got my student into Scripture, seeing how the story and themes of Tuck Everlasting applied. Vocabulary covers "everyday words" as well as more challenging words. Thanks Progeny Press! Once again, another great product!
